Memorial cross to Capt. John Samer, died 1916. In a late mediaeval style as a
churchyard cross. Ashlar. Octagonal base of 3 steps. Chamfered octagonal
shaft supported on square, stop-chamfered plinth. Finely carved head with
pinnacles and relief panels of the crucifixion (east side) and a saint (west
side).
