Mid C19. Verancular revival frontage (possible earlier origin). Farmhouse and
barn in one range. Hammer dressed stone. Some quoins. pitched stone slate roof.
Coped gables. Stone brackets to south elevation. Moulded footstones to west.
Tall stack at eaves possibly later. Stone brackets. 2 storeys. House: South
elevation: ground floor; entrance with stone surrounds and with Tudor arched head,
chamfered reveals and fanlight. One 4-light stone mullioned window (chamfered
surrounds and mullions) with hood mould over. First floor: one 4-light stone
mullioned window and one single light, chamfered as before. North elevation:
Ground floor; two 2-light stone mullioned windows. First floor; one 3-light stone
mullioned window (blocked). One 2-light stone mullioned window. Barn: south eleva-
tion: large central doorway with semicircular arched head, stone surrounds and tie-
stones with Venetian window above. Small doorway with stone surround and tie-
stones. North elevation: 2 vents. West gable: later openings. East gable: two
2-light stone mullioned windows (recessed with chamfered mullions and surrounds)
to first floor. Late rubble outbuildings to south.
