Small house. Circa early C18 or possibly earlier. Plastered
timber frame and clay lump. Steeply pitched asbestos tile roof
with gabled ends. Rendered gable-end stack. Plan: 2-room plan;
the right hand (S) room heated from gable end stack, the left
room unheated. Later outshut at rear and porch on right (S) end.
Exterior: 1 storey and attic. 2-window west front. 2-light
casements with glazing bars, the attic casements in raking
dormers. Right hand (S) end has gabled porch on left with plank
door and attic casement above in gable. N end has casement in
gable with weatherboarding above. Weatherboarded outshut at rear
(E). Interior: Wall-plate, tie-beam and waney ceiling beams
exposed. Roof structure ceiled. Fireplace in south room blocked
by C20 fireplace. Plank doors and straight staircase rising from
left (N) room.
