Remains of medieval work but largely rebuilt in 1630. Timber frame entirely
encased in weatherboarding. Three unequal gables. Slate roof. Two storeys.
Five casement windows overall. Interior; staircase of 1630 and fireplaces,
one with overmantel with enriched stucco decoration. RCHM volume II,
page 192, plate 23.
