House, now public house, with living accommodation over. C17,
with C18 alterations and C19 and C20 extensions. Timber-framed
and plastered, old tiled roofs with tall central colourwashed
brick chimneystack with 6 pots. 2 storey centre with cornice.
3 flush sash windows with exposed boxes, with glazing bars, on
first floor. Long Neo-Georgian window on ground floor with
continuous fascia forming cornice over recessed glazed
entrance door at right centre.
INTERIOR: consists of one small and one large room separated
by substantial back to back red brick, English bond
fireplaces. Single storey wings, one on left C19 with Welsh
slated roof, and pierced, fretted barge board to left hand
gable. C20 yellow brick with old tiled roof on right. 2 rear
outshoots: left hand 2 storeys, plastered, old tiled roof;
right hand C18 single storey with hipped old tiled roof and
C19 chimney in yellow stock bricks, with tall zigzag
extension.
