House, subsequently public house, now commercial premises,
opened out on ground floor with large C20 rear extensions.
C17, refronted C18. Timber-framed, first floor jettied,
colourwashed pebbledashed and plastered, gambrel old tiled
roof with 2 casement box dormers. 2 storeys and attics. First
floor has 2 sash windows with glazing bars, flush set with
architrave surrounds, and one central mid C20 sash with
glazing bars. Ground floor has mid C20 timber-framed
shopfronts, with plate glass windows, below coved plaster
cornice, now concealed by deep modern boxed aluminium fascia.
Motor showrooms since early C20. The workshops at rear are not
of special interest.
