Chest tomb of Admiral Russell
approximately 18 metres east of
Parish Church of Canford Magna

GV II

Chest tomb. Dated 1821. Commemorates Admiral Russell, former
Commander of the North Sea Fleet. Limestone ashlar with iron
railings. A wide base with moulded plinth and top, and
railings all round with corner finials; inside, a rectangular
plinth with panelled sides and sunken ovals to the ends,
inscription, and an urn with swag on top.
