2.
Mid-late C19 plastered building with stucco rusticated quoins and 3 gables.
It stands in a visually important situation at the corner of Station Road
and Chapel Hill and forms a terminal feature to the west end of Lower Street.
Two storeys and attics. The windows are partly double-hung sashes and partly
casements. The gables break forward slightly and the centre gable has sham
timber-framing. At the north side, between the gables there is a castellated
"Gothic" octagonal tower. Roof tiled. The gables have shaped ornamental
bargeboards.
