Farmhouse. Early C19. Gault brick, black glazed pantifid roof. 2 storeys,
5 irregular bays, in Holkham estate Samuel Wyatt style. Ground floor end
bays have 2 tripartite sashes recessed under skew segmental rubbed brick
arches, one central sash under skew backed rubbed brick arch, 5 sided hipped
brick and slate roofed porch addition with 2 sashes and central part glazed
door c.1900, internal door with fanlight, to north C20 door replacement under
rubbed brick arch. First floor 5 windows under skew backed rubbed brick
arches, 4 sashes with glazing bars, one bricked up. First floor platband,
eaves moulded brick cornice, at north east and north west angle 2 cast iron
fluted roundel purlin iron heads. Tall steeply pitched roof. Details identify
as Samuel Wyatt style Holkham estate building of early C19.
