H-shaped house. The half-H facing east is C17 or earlier. Two storeys and
attic. Five windows. Ground floor red brick, above tile-hung. Gables to
wings, the north one oversailing on brackets with a cove beneath. Tiled roof.
Modern casement windows. On west wall of the waist of the H is a massive
stone chimney breast with a leaning brick stack having zig-zag ornamentation
set between 2 vertical courses of red brick on each side. In the C18 the south
front has been continued westwards to form the south-west arm of the H and
now has 5 windows. The north-west arm of the H is modern.
