Pigeoncote. Mid C18. Red brick with a pantile roof and
dentillated eaves. 2 storeys, 5 bays, with a 1st floor band.
Central blocked doorway under a segmental arch. To the right
a later casement and doorway, to the left a later doorway and
casement. Casements lack glazing. Above are 2 rectangular
openings, the top half of both having wooden bars. To the left,
slightly set back, is a brick and pantile lean-to with brick
coping and flush band of headers above the blocked doorway.
Above the band, in a diamond pattern, are several ventilation
holes. Interior has an inserted 1st floor with rows of brick
nesting holes and ledges to all 4 sides. These originally went
from floor to roof,with evidence of blocked holes on the ground
floor.
