Farmhouse, late C16 or early C17, altered and extended. Sandstone rubble with
quoins (south and west sides rendered, north side whitewashed), stone slate
roof, external chimney stacks to the north side and the west gable walls. Two
units (excluding the extension). Two storeys; north side has an inserted
doorway to right of chimney stack, on each floor to the right of the door a
recessed 3-light window with a hoodmould, the upper with ovolo and fillet
moulded mullions, the lower now a casement; left gable wall has a similar
4-light mullioned window on each floor; right has a large chimney stack with
offsets, at 1st floor to the left of this a round-headedlight and to the
right a 2-light mullioned window; rear is mostly covered by large C19 extension
which is of little interest. Interior: altered, but contains 3 large beams
