Kitehill Farmhouse

House half H plan. C17 wings joined by an apparently later portion, pre-
sumably refronted in the early Cl9. Two storeys and attic in gables. Six
windows. Red brick and grey headers, once painted. Gables to wings. Tiled
roof. Casement windows, except on the ground floor of the centre portion,
which has sash windows with glazing bars intact. The centre portion has a
stringcourse, large modern windows on the first floor and a gable porch with
a semi-circular fanlight with pointed Gothic panes and a six-panel moulded
door. Three buttresses on the West side. Back partly tile hung. Chimney
stack with half a stepped gable.
