Former school and school house. Early C19. Local lias stone roughly cut and squared, Ham stone dressings: Welsh slate
roof between stepped coped gables; brick chimney stack. One and 2 storeys, 3-bay roadside elevation, of which bay 1 is
the house, with cross-roof set higher, and bay 3 is a projecting porch with gabled roof almost to hall roof height.
Chamfer mullioned windows with labels; 2-light to both levels bay 1, 3-light and taller to hall, bay 2; porch has
studded boarded door in chamfered doorway with square label. Entrance to house on north-east flank, masked by C20
porch: south-west gable has 3-light timber mullioned and transomed window to hall. C20 extensions to rear. Interior of
house not seen, but hall and porch retain character of schoolroom and little altered: plaque with biblical text on
north-east inside wall of schoolroom.
