Probably early C17 brick wall with stone coping and stone steps at angle. Stone
Tudor-arched doorway in north wall. Wall breaks for entrance tower and continues
eastward at a lower level.

Penshurst Place, the South Central Tower and Wall, the Southern Wall, the
inner Garden Wall and the Garden Wall form a group.
