Late C18 recasing of earlier structure. C19 alterations. 2 storeys red brick
on stone plinth with chamfered stone quoins. Low pitch hipped slate roof.
Wide 3 bay west main front with centre bay slightly projecting. Recessed sash
windows, later Cl9 glazing. Central door of 6 fielded panels, with good female
head knocker, arched and radiating weathered fanlight, in panelled surround
under Doric porch of 2 pilasters, 2 columns to front, broken entablature to
sides and segmental pediment hood. 2 storey canted C18 brick bays to north
and south fronts. Earlier flint and brick wing to rear, wood casements. The
north side with 6 panel door under plain porch.
