Laithe house. Probably a C17 house later altered. Rubble with quoins, part cement
washed. Stone slate roof. 2 storeys to house. Gable end facing road has 3-light
stone mullion windows with semi-circular headed lights. Doorway has rough hewn,
four centred arch with chamfered jambs and head. First floor has three 2-light
stone mullion windows. Adjoining barn, converted into part of dwelling, is probably
C18.
