Lodge. c.1853. By T. C. Hine for T. B. T. Hildyard.
Renaissance Revival style. Ashlar with plain tile roof.
Chamfered plinth, string course, coped parapets. Shouldered ogee
gables. Single side wall and grouped central stacks with fillets
and cornices. Single storey, 3 bays. T-plan. Windows are
mostly mullioned casements, some shouldered. North east front
has to left a gabled bay with parapeted bay window containing 5
lights. Above it, quatrefoil with sculptured cockerel. To
right, in return angle, porch with moulded round headed doorway.
Right side has round headed window. Window and door have linked
hood mould with foliate stops. North west front has 5 light bay
window with quatrefoil above. To right, casement. To right
again, C20 flat roofed addition with a casement. West gable has
a casement. Rear elevation has to left, door, and to right, 2
casements.
