Pair of cottages. Mid C18, with later alterations. Coursed stone
with ashlar dressings and stone slate roofs. A single central ridge
stack and a raised coped gable. 2 storey. Main front, has 2 long
mullion windows now 3-light, though originally 5-light, to the left
a doorway with plain ashlar surround and to the right a plank door
with massive lintel. Above a stone band and a central window without
mullions, flanked by single long mullion windows now 3-light, though
originally 5-light. Rear front, single storey with to the left a
doorway with ashlar surround flanked by single 3-light mullion
windows, Beyond to the right a further doorway. Interior. Chamfered
spine beams. 2 ashlar fireplaces eitherside of the central stack.
Some timber framed partition walls on the upper floor. Some original
roof timbers.
