Former farmhouse. C17; remodelled in C18. Timber-framed with brick nogging, refronted
and extended in red brick. Half-hipped plain tile roofs with catslide over rear outshut. Framing
is small square panels with straight tension braces at comers. Brick end and lateral stacks. Hall
range has rear lateral stack and rear outshut, and short cross-wing to left with outshut to left and
brick end stack to rear. Two storeys. 5-window range. Irregular window openings. Front has
C20 metal casements, those on ground floor in original openings with segmental arched heads.
Doorway off centre to left with later gabled porch. Interior: Much exposed timber framing,
including chamfered spine beams; hall range has trusses with tie-beams, collars and queen-struts.
