House. C. 1760, extended c. 1950 and c. 1980. Plastered and whitewashed timber frame: thatched hipped roof.
EXTERIOR: one storey and dormer attic; 2-window range. North elevation with one C20 glazed door to left and 2 late C20 single-light casements to first floor without glazing bars. West elevation with 2 similar 2-light casements to ground floor and 2 single-light equivalents in single eyebrow dormer. Elevation with pargetted panels with geometric designs. South elevation with lean-to outshut of c. 1980, pargetted to the west return and fitted with similar casements and a half-glazed door. Attic of original gable wall with one single-light casement as before, and an external brick stack. East elevation consists of a 2-storey lean-to extension under slate roof added c. 1950: one first-floor single light casement.
INTERIOR: ground floor with 2 rooms plus the 1950 extension (kitchen). Frame consists of 2 bays of principal studs, middle rails, tie beams and roof. Studwork of thin scantling to internal partitions. North door opens into lobby with staircase of c. 1950. East extension with no features of architectural interest. North room with ceiling joists. South room with rebuilt brick fireplace in south wall. Exposed partition studwork to walls. First-floor north room divided into 2 by C20 partition. Main frame exposed, as it is to the south room. Roof of rafters only and ridge piece.
