Small stone rubble building with very heavy and thick flag roof, with even
heavier flags on gable ends. Large wooden lintel to square boarded door
on upper (east) end. Being set on a steep hillside the interior contains
2 storeys, with a door at each end on ground level. Small door at west
end has a stone lintel, with a crude dripstone and slit light above. Small
square yard in front of west end is enclosed by stone rubble walls 5ft
high and 2ft 6ins thick, the yard being about 10ft by 5ft. RCHM dates
the building as C16 or early C17.
