Shop with domestic accommodation above. Late C16 origins, but
so much rebuilt c1840 that is virtually all of this date. Red
brick. Roof of machine tiles. 4 storeys; 2-window range. C20
glazed shop front under a cornice at first floor which has
mutules to the soffit. 2 first-floor 6/3 sashes without horns
but set in recesses. Gauged skewback arches. 2 similar sashes
to each floor above, but with 6/6 glazing bars. Modillion
eaves cornice. Gabled roof. North gable and parapet rebuilt
late C20. Internal gable-end stack to north. To the left the
building extends over Row 46. South return wall with false
timbering but with a chamfered brick arch of C16 origins.
INTERIOR: ground and first floors have no features of
interest. Upper floors reached by a stick-baluster staircase.
