House, now part of public house. Early C18. Painted brick with
plain tiled roof. 2 storeys with attic, 5-window range.
Central 3-panelled door with flanking 4-pane sash windows with
flat-arched gauged brick heads, and archway to rear passage to
right. Upper windows also 4-pane sashes, with one narrower
2-pane sash, all with flat-arched gauged brick heads. String
courses at each floor. 2 dormers in the roof. Nos 26 & 27
Abbey Foregate (qv) adjoin, and now all form part of The Crown
Inn.
