Pair of gatepiers. 1846, by A WN Pugin for Capt. JH Washington Hibbert. Red brick with ashlar dressings. Square bases with canted corners, octagonal upper stages tapering to flat caps with dentillations. The piers are approx. 2m high, and appear formerly to have been topped with lamps. Gate renewed late C20. C 19 wrought iron kissgate attached to E pier .
