3 estate cottages, now houses. c1841. For the 12th Duke of
Norfolk. Coursed squared stone with ashlar dressings and stone
slate roofs with 2 stone ridge and single side wall stacks. 2
storeys; 2 window range. L-plan. Windows are glazing bar
casements. To left, a gable with a 2-light window above and a
3-light window below. To right, a gabled through-eaves dormer
with a 2-light window. Below it, a 3-light window flanked to
left by a gabled porch, altered mid C20, and to right by a
3-light window. Returns have similar porches.
INTERIOR not inspected.
These cottages form a handed pair with those to the south-west
(qv), and were probably built when Norfolk Park was laid out.
