House, now 2 shops and flats. c1830, altered late C19 and C20.
Red brick, with slate mansard roof and 2 brick gable stacks. 3
storeys plus attics, 3 window range. Ground floor has to left
a late C19 wooden shopfront with round-cornered plate glass
windows and side entrances. Mid C20 shopfront to right. Above,
2 floors each with 3 glazing bar sashes and brick flat arches.
Above again, 3 raking dormers with glazing bar windows.
This house was probably built as the adjacent lace factory
(qv) owner's house.
