House. Mid C19, with additions c1890 by Watson Fothergill of
Nottingham. Red brick with rendered ground floor and ashlar
and terracotta dressings. Hipped slate and plain tile roofs
with 2 lateral stacks. 2 and 3 storeys; 3 window range. Street
front has to left a square tower, 3 storeys, with pyramidal
roof and finial. Canted bay window, 2 storeys, with a 4-light
window to the ground floor with wooden tracery. Above, a cross
casement. The second floor has 2 leaded casements set in sham
timber framing with brick nogging. To right, a moulded wooden
doorcase with half-glazed door and sloping hood on brackets.
To its right, a canted bay window, 3 lights, with a similar
sloping hood. above, a single light window and to right, a
3-light cross casement. Right return has to right an octagonal
tower with partly leaded casements and spire roof.
