2 houses, now hostel, and attached former coach house. c1820,
restored and with alterations late C20. Brick with ashlar and
stucco dressings and slate roof with single ridge stack.
Plinth, modillion eaves, coped parapet with central finial,
coped gables. 2 storeys plus garrets; 4 window range of 16
pane sashes with panelled lintels with raised keystones.
Below, off-centre round-headed doorcase with fluted pilasters,
imposts and keystone, with multi-rebated recess and renewed
6-panel door with fanlight. On either side, a 16 pane sash. To
right, a half-glazed French window with glazing bar sidelights
and overlight and corniced wooden surround. Rendered left
return has a single round-headed window. Right return,
fronting Conway street, has a central round-headed 12 pane
sash with keystone, flanked to left by a blank and to right by
a 16 pane sash . Above, a larger round-headed 9 pane sash.
Central round-headed doorcase with multi-rebated recess and
C20 door and fanlight. To its left, a blank. To right, a 16
pane sash. To right again, a low 2 storey former coach house
with a C20 door and garage door, and above, pitching eye.
