Yarn warehouse and offices, now offices. 1890. By WR & F
Booker of Nottingham for G Wigley. Additions 1911 by H
Allcock. Red brick with ashlar dressings and slate roof with a
coped rear wall stack.
Plinth, ground floor cornice, eaves cornice. Windows are
mainly original plain sashes. 2 storeys plus basement; 3
window range. Ground floor has to left a cart entrance with
panelled doors under a C20 glazed screen. To right, a
round-arched doorway with keystone and spandrels, panelled
double door and fanlight. To right again, 2 large tripartite
sashes with shaped mullions, and below them, mullioned 3-light
basement openings. Above,to left, a canted wooden oriel window
with glazing bar casements, ashlar bracket and domed lead
roof. To right, 2 large tripartite sashes set in recessed
panels with dentillated brick heads and divided by pilasters.
