Gateway, railings and attached fences at east entrance to Wollaton Park

Gateway, railings and attached fences. c1926. Ashlar and
wrought-iron, with wooden fences. The railings and fences form
a semicircle with the main gateway at the apex. Pair of square
ashlar gate piers with square cornice caps. Pair of
wrought-iron gates with crests. On each side, curved railings
with chamfered ashlar plinth and square ashlar end piers. At
each end, curved wooden fences with single gateways and small
square piers.
This building is part of the redevelopment of Wollaton Park
carried out by Nottingham City Council from c1920.
