2 houses. Probably early C19 with late C19 alterations. Stucco
on the ground floor with pebbledash above and with painted
ashlar dressings. Both houses have sill bands to their upper
storeys, an eaves band, sashed windows with plain reveals, and
a limestone plinth. No.26 is of 3 storeys and 3 bays and has a
central door with segmental overlight recessed within a
doorcase of engaged Ionic columns with an open pediment. It is
approached by 3 stone steps with nosings. No.26A is set back
to the left and is of 2 storeys and one bay. Its doorway, to
the right, has a round head with fanlight and a late C20 door.
