Toll Cottage

Toll house, now house. Dated 1848. Roughcast; plain tile roof
with central gable to road; brick end stack.
EXTERIOR: single-storey and attic; central porch with side
openings, containing plank door; flanked by 2-light casements;
2-light casement to gable, with tablet inscribed: "John
Overton Builder, 1848". Returned sides: rubble with ashlar
quoins to front. C20 wing to rear.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
