Formerly part of castle, now farm building. Probably C14, with
later alterations. Sandstone rubble; plain tile roof.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; various lights and openings, including
chamfered ashlar doorway and timber-frame and weatherboarded
panel, over openings in oak frames, and span-arch chamfered
pointed arch with plank door. Rear: 3- and 4-light mullioned
windows in chamfered ashlar surrounds under relieving arches;
ventilation holes; light to gable. Lean-to to left front,
under catslide roof.
