House. c1840 with C20 alterations. Rendered and whitewashed
brick; cast-iron balcony; slate roof with right of centre
ridge stack.
EXTERIOR: 2-storey 4-bay front. At left end, former carriage
entrance now converted to garage with timber doors. Right part
has half-glazed 4-panel door and 3-vaned fanlight recessed in
round-arched opening with panelled reveals and flanked by 2/2
horned sashes. On the first floor are two C20 French windows
separated by a C20 top-hung casement, all with louvred
shutters and opening on to cantilevered balcony. At left end
is a canted bay window with 2/2 and 1/1 sashes.
INTERIOR: stick-baluster staircase with ramped and wreathed
handrail.
