limestone with sandstone dressings and slate roofs. 4:1:4
window range with a 3-storeyed cross-wing to right with
half-hipped roof. The entrance bay rises to 4 storeys and has

4-window ranges, of 2 storeys with dormers set in a mansard
roof, have casement windows on the ground floor with segmental
heads, and sashes on the 1st floor with sill bands. Below the
gutters there are prominent shaped brackets. The attic dormers
are sashed, set back into the mansard slope, with segmental
heads. The right-hand cross-wing has a timber canted bay
window on the ground floor and paired windows to the upper
floors separated by stone mullions. The entrance bay has a
window of 3 segmental-headed lights separated by mullions on
the 1st floor, and windows of 2 round-headed lights above.
Above the entrance doorway and its flanking windows there is a
plain entablature with moulded cornice, supported by Tuscan
