House, divided into 2, now one. C17, altered mid C19.
Limestone rubble with brick gable stacks and a stone slate
roof. 3-room plan with C19 rear outshut.
Single storey and attic; 3-window range. A shallow central
recess has a right-hand boarded door and an inserted left-hand
6-pane window in a former doorway, with a wide, hipped stone
slate canopy above, timber lintels to 3/3-pane horned sashes,
a wide timber lintel above the right-hand window, with outer
gabled casement dormers and a larger central double casement
dormer. The left-hand gable has a queen post truss with 2
purlin mortices and brick nogging. Full-width rear lean-to.

trusses with chamfered tie beams.
HISTORICAL NOTE: the end gable suggest there were previously
further bays, although the falling ground contradicts this.
