Pair of houses. Early C19, remodelling of earlier structure.
Coursed limestone dressings, brick party wall stack and stone
slate roof. Double-depth plan.
Each of 2 storeys; 2-window range. Timber lintels, on the
ground-floor extending across ground-floor openings, to
recessed doorways set toward the ends: No.76 with a plank
door, horned 3/3-pane ground-floor sash and casements beneath
the wall plate; No.78 with a plinth, C20 half-glazed door,
8/8-pane ground-floor sash and 2/2-pane first-floor sashes
with lintels.
