Water tower, now house. Mid-late C19, converted late C20.
Coursed, squared limestone and dressings, roof not visible.
Formerly square open plan.
3 storeys; 2-window range. A plain, square tower has a cornice
band and crenellated parapet with NW raised corner turret, a
left-hand doorway with chamfered surround and shouldered
lintel with a C20 door, 2 outer louvred loops on second
storey, with C20 windows inserted to 3 storeys on S and E
sides, the latter with a shallow second-floor ashlar oriel.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
HISTORICAL NOTE: formerly attached to the Abbey House stables.
