Pair of houses. Early C19. Brick front and limestone rubble
rear with right-hand brick ridge stacks and a stone slate
roof. Double-depth plan.
Each of 2 storeys and attic; 1-window range. A matching pair
with cambered heads to left-hand doorways with C20 glazed
doors, horned 2/2-pane sashes, and a blind central first-floor
window; right-hand carriage entrance with a 1-window section
over with a C20 casement.
Rear elevation has a timber lintel to a central first-floor
6/6-pane sash and a gable dormer.
INTERIOR: details include sections of re-used late C17
scratch-moulded panelling in entrance hall to No.27.
