House with shop. Early C19. Painted incised stucco, painted
moulded eaves cornice, slate roof. Double-depth plan.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys; 2-window range. 6/6-pane sash windows. A
fine Regency shop front of small-paned bow windows with reeded
sills flanking a former 6-panel door, now 1/2-glazed, with
overlight. A wide projecting cornice to the fascia supported
by reeded pilasters spans the whole facade. Above the door is
a shallow curved bay with a window to each floor in curved
frames. A recessed 6-panel door and overlight to the
ground-floor right has reeded pilasters and entablature
coinciding with that of the shop below a window on each floor.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
Particularly notable for the fine early C19 shop front with
its original small-paned windows.
