2 barns, now in ancillary storage use, joined to form 'L'
shaped enclosure on north-east of courtyard, former farmyard,
of Broadoak Manor (qv). Late C17 and early C18. Timber-framed
and weatherboarded, with old tile roof.
EXTERIOR: East range of 5 bays with projecting central
midstrey on east. Long posts without jowls, braced tie beam
with queen strut roof, walls with mid rails and primary
bracing. North end partitioned off from north range with
weatherboarded wall, roof overlays the east of the north
range. Tall battened doors opening into courtyard on west
side. North range 5 bays, long posts without jowls, braced tie
beams with queen struts, walls with mid rails and primary
bracing, some reset timber of medieval origin including a
canted tie beam reused as a mid rail. Tall battened doors on
south side opening into courtyard on south side.
