Terrace of 3 houses, now offices. C18, with C20 alterations.
Timber-framed and weatherboarded, painted on front (north)
elevation, with stuccoed first floor at left (east), and dark
stained on rear (south elevation), with ground floor partly
underbuilt in brown brick, Flemish bond, with shallow pilaster
buttresses. Brown interlocking concrete tiled roof, hipped at
north end, with 2 brown brick chimneystacks with yellow and
orange clay pots.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; front faces north, and has scattered
fenestration, ground and first floors, of 2 and 3-light
casements, 4 with divided glazing, 3 with horizontal bars, 1
with multiple small panes; 3 flush-panelled doors under
weatherboard heads; splayed east end has one 2-light casement
with glazing bars on first floor, and flush-panelled door on
ground floor.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
The main elevation of this building faces the River Lea
Navigation near its junction with the River Lea, and it has
group and townscape value with its neighbours and setting.
