House, now offices. C18 with C19 extensions and early C20
alterations. Red brick, laid to Flemish bond, with plat band
at first-floor level. Old tiled roof above moulded wood eaves
cornice, with brick coped gables with corbelled kneelers.
Brick chimneystacks, with oversailing courses and earthenware
pots, at left and right. Central staircase plan.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys and attics. First floor has 5 sash
windows, upper sashes 6 pane, lower sashes plain glazed,
recessed below rubbed flat arches all but concealed by the
eaves cornice. Ground floor rebuilt in 1920s with 3 light
projecting casement bay windows, with lean-to old tiled roofs,
at left and right, and central multi-light half-glazed door.
Sidelights and fanlights beneath projecting wood-framed
open-gabled porch. Right-hand gable cement rendered. Roof with
3 casement dormers with rendered cheeks and hipped old tile
roofs.
Twin rear outshoots in yellow brick with red dressings, with
divided plate glazed sash windows, red brick corbelled eaves
and machine tiled gabled roofs with brick stacks.
INTERIOR: much altered, cellar brick lined with brick floor.
