GV II*

Stables with dove loft. Early/mid C18 with C19 wings and rear
range. Red brick, Flemish bond, hipped old tiled roof, with
pediment front, brick modillioned eaves cornice. Welsh slated
lean-to roofs behind lower half pediment gables, hipped around
rear range.
EXTERIOR: 3-bay central 2-storey front, with 1-bay
single-storey wings left and right. Palladian style; front
elevation has recessed full height pilaster strips at corners,
with front breaking slightly forward. Central arch, with
projecting brick triple keyblock, and brick plat band imposts
creating a giant triumphal arch motif. First floor has squat
6-pane sash windows below red rubbed brick segmental arches
with flat extrados, left and right, and central recessed 4
flush panel loft door with segmental head.
Ground floor has 12-pane sash windows left and right of
recessed 6-flush panel door below rubbed brick segmental arch
with flat extrados. Slightly recessed single bay wings left
and right with 1 window - plain glazed sash at left, mullion
and transom window at right with casements. Projecting plinth
across full width. Centre with pediment gable with brick
modillion cornices, central lunette with header surround, with
infill of honeycomb brickwork with voids to dove loft. Half
pediments left and right with corbelled band cornices.
2 stable doors in rear range.
