Bridge immediately north north west of Whaddon Grove Farmhouse

Bridge over river. Circa late C18 or early C19. Limestone ashlar. Small single~span farm accommodation bridge over Semington Brook, a tributary of the River Avon. Segmental arch with stringcourse above; ashlar parapets and abutments returned at the ends. The parapets have been lightly rendered. NOTE: Reputedly built for the Long family, clothiers and Wiltshire gentry.
