Lodge. Probably c1765 by Sir William Chambers, the architect of Peper Harow House, extended to right in C19 and to left in early C20. Original part of painted brick with hipped roof now covered in asbestos sheeting and 2 painted brick chimneys. Parapet and modillion cornice. Two storeys: one bay to original part. Giant arch spans two floors and is divided by a stringcourse. Diocletian window to first floor and 6-flush panelled door to ground floor flanked by sidelights. Leaded lights on pintle hinges. Plinth. Rear elevation has first floor cambered casement with leaded light. C19 lean to extension also in painted brick and with slate roof to right. One storey early C20 extension to left of painted brick with similar parapet to original building, hipped roof and triple casement window.
