Cottage to the rear of the Jubilee Building (qv). Mid C17,
altered. Coursed limestone rubble with freestone quoins,
rendered gable end to the rear, 1st floor of the south side
early C19 brick, double-Roman tile roof. Single-unit plan.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys with attic; one-window range. A doorway to
the south side has a flat hood on brackets. The east side,
rear, has a timber lintel and ovolo-moulded mullions to a
3-light casement window with a C19 centre leaf flanked by
leaded panes to the attic, window to the 1st floor is altered.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
HISTORY: the C17 fabric probably represents the surviving part
of a larger town house, the front of which was rebuilt as the
Jubilee Building.
