House. Mid C19. Painted ashlar, hipped roof with brick ridge
stacks to sides. Double-depth plan.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; 3-window range. Heavily dentilled
cornice, blocking course and patera frieze to facade and
porch. Plate-glass sash windows, that to the 1st-floor centre
is semicircular-arched with coloured margin panes over a
prostyle porch with Tuscan columns. Steps up to double 2-panel
doors. The range to the left is a canted bay with chamfered
arrises to the windows.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: low rubblestone walls with freestone
coping enclose the front garden; ashlar piers to the sides and
centre have wide dentilled cornices and stepped pyramidal
caps.
