GV II

Farmhouse, now house. Circa 1800-1820 of Manhood estate type. Built mainly of brickwork, red brick in flemish bond with grey headers, but rear wall and kitchen L-wing of cobbles with red brick lacing courses. tiled roof with end brick chimneystacks. Two storeys and attics in gable end; 3 windows to main house. C20 wooden cross casement windows within existing openings. Central doorcase with original 6-panelled door and wooden porch. Attached front garden wall of cobbles with brick coping and central brick gatepiers with pyramidal stone caps. Rear elevation has large C20 flat-roofed dormer. L-wing of one storey. Interior has stone flags to ground floor, open fireplace with wooden bressumer to front right room, staircase with stick balusters and column newel post, six panelled doors and late C18 type wooden fireplace with decorative features, possibly inserted.
